Position Overview

As a recognized Level 2 Trauma center, we are dedicated to high-quality patient care, handling a significant volume of emergency and inpatient cases annually.

We are currently in search of enthusiastic and skilled professionals to join our dynamic team in various entry-level roles. Our organization encompasses a wide range of healthcare services, including primary and specialty clinics, urgent care facilities, and an upcoming standalone Emergency Department. Work Schedule: 80 hours per biweekly pay period

Shift: Monday to Friday

Compensation: Minimum $79,809.60; Midpoint $99,777.60

Role Summary

The Physical Therapist operates within a self-directed team, dedicated to achieving shared objectives. This role requires adherence to the standards of Physical Therapy practice, ensuring compliance with established policies and protocols. The Physical Therapist shares responsibility for all facets of therapy and team operations.

Standard Duties for Physical Therapist

Exemplifies professional development and continuous learning in the field of Physical Therapy.

Contributes to team development and departmental objectives through active participation.

Conducts patient evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning, ensuring individualized care plans that lead to positive outcomes.

Ensures timely and accurate patient documentation, reflecting treatment responses and adjustments to care plans.

Coordinates patient education and discharge planning, assessing comprehension and involvement in care plans.

Communicates significant findings to physicians and team members promptly, seeking collaborative input for care planning.

Facilitates multidisciplinary collaboration by initiating necessary consultations.

Delivers exceptional healthcare while effectively managing departmental resources to ensure consistent patient care and positive outcomes.

Implements safety measures to protect patients, visitors, and staff, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in an acute care setting.
