Job Title: Financial Representative

Job Summary:

The Financial Representative is a key role at Western & Southern Life, responsible for meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients. This involves educating clients, analyzing their needs, and recommending tailored solutions in an ethical and client-focused manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Development: Identify target markets and develop effective marketing strategies to reach middle-market clients.
  • Prospecting and Networking: Identify qualified leads and establish relationships with potential clients through initial contacts and appointments.
  • Sales and Service: Conduct appointments with clients to provide financial solutions, conserve existing relationships, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Preparation and Planning: Prepare thoroughly for appointments using established processes and consultative practices.
  • Sales and Marketing Activities: Effectively plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities to achieve business objectives.
  • Brand Development: Promote the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level through market activities.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local communities to strengthen the company's presence in target markets.
  • Client Maintenance: Regularly engage with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are being met.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, payments, and other relevant information.

Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet, and email.
  • Certifications and Licenses: State Life and Health license, FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
Position Demands:
  • Automobile and Driver's License: Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
