Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and charismatic Lead Automotive Educator and Technologist to join our team. As a key figure in shaping the minds and skills of our students, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, fostering their passion for auto mechanics while imparting your expert knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Mentorship: Inspire and educate students, fostering their passion for auto mechanics while imparting your expert knowledge. Lead by example, providing practical demonstrations and hands-on training to ensure students gain real-world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing small engines.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements. Ensure the curriculum is up-to-date, relevant, and meets the needs of our students.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Guide and mentor students on their individual projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions.
  • Campus Safety: Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: 3-5 years of practical work experience in the field. ASE certifications are highly valued, but if not current, we will pay for you to obtain them.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff.
  • Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $62,500 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
