Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Lead Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong technical expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems, as well as excellent leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team towards increased customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- A minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
- A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
