Job Summary:The MDS RN will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development and completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and state regulations. This includes coordinating and leading the development of a comprehensive resident assessment and care plan, ensuring the face validity of all MDS, and conducting regular reviews to ensure accuracy and internal consistency with medical records.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive resident assessment and care plan in accordance with Federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate and lead the MDS process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required assessments and care plans.
- Conduct regular reviews of MDS to ensure accuracy and internal consistency with medical records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines governing the practices of our facility.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse, with a strong background in clinical assessment and care planning.
- Knowledge of PPS assessment and OBRA compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
