Job Overview

First Coast Pallet is looking for a dedicated Production & Quality Supervisor to join our team in a Pallet Repair Facility.

Compensation starts at $22/hr

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected candidate will oversee daily operations involving a team of approximately 15 employees, manage the quality assurance processes, and ensure effective receiving and shipping activities within the pallet repair and sorting facility.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in basic computer applications including Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Experience in supervising and guiding a workforce with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a production setting
  • Experience collaborating with external contractors and drivers
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential
  • Basic mathematical skills are required
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct supervision to facility staff to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Engage with management and clients daily to align on operational goals
  • Ensure quality standards are met by conducting daily audits of sorting and repairs
  • Develop and manage work schedules for shipping and receiving operations
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor daily production and inventory levels, conducting physical inventory checks
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, maintenance, and audits
  • Regularly inspect the warehouse to assess operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide support
  • Recommend improvements to the Operations Site Manager for facility operations and maintenance
  • Monitor equipment and facility conditions to report to management
  • Utilize effective supervisory techniques to coach employees
  • Assist in payroll verification and timekeeping processes
  • Support training initiatives for associates
  • Uphold company safety policies and ensure the warehouse is organized, reporting hazards and promoting safe practices
  • Comply with OSHA and other relevant standards
  • Participate in planning and safety meetings
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods on hard surfaces
  • Ability to frequently twist, stoop, squat, reach, and crouch
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and 100+ pounds with assistance using proper techniques
