Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization, the Georgia Golf Course Superintendents Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial management of our association.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the association, including budgeting, financial reporting, and human resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our members, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our Board of Directors and committees.
  • Develop and implement programs and services that enhance member value and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, turf management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role within the golf course management industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and fundraising experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
