Job Summary

The Salesforce Developer III is a key member of the University Advancement team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce application functionality and code to support the team's goals.

This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component Framework. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a higher education environment, particularly in advancement and fundraising.

The Salesforce Developer III will work closely with the team to deliver solutions that meet the needs of University Advancement, including developing integrations with third-party applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce application functionality and code
  • Develop integrations with third-party applications
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Work closely with the team to deliver solutions that meet the needs of University Advancement
Requirements
  • Seven years of relevant technology experience
  • Experience working in higher education, particularly in advancement and fundraising
  • Experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component Framework
  • Strong understanding of best practices in Salesforce development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MuleSoft and REST and SOAP APIs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce administration and configuration
  • Experience with web development, including JavaScript and commonly used libraries
