Heavy Equipment Technician

Granite Construction is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment used in construction and surface mining.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, graders, and pavers
• Read and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics
• Maintain shop supplies, tools, and service trucks
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of related experience and proficiency with tools and techniques
• Valid driver's license and CDL
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment
• Ability to lift heavy machinery and work in noisy and dusty conditions
