Cruz Companies is seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining equipment on construction project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate equipment on project site(s)
Aid in diagnosing equipment failures to ensure safety, cost efficiency, and production
Conduct minor maintenance of equipment, including monitoring and maintaining appropriate fluid levels, fueling, and greasing of equipment being operated
Conduct manual labor, such as shoveling and using a chainsaw, as needed to complete project assignments
Effectively work with other members of the project team to produce contract/project requirements
Maintain record keeping, including load counts, equipment hours, and production
Requirements:
Experience with oilfield work and rig movement
Valid CDL
Medical Examiners Card
OSHA 10 hour training (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
