Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Yukon Equipment Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, excavators, and bulldozers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, excavators, and bulldozers.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in heavy equipment repair.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Yukon Equipment's Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational or technical training in Heavy Equipment preferred.
  • Welding certification preferred.
  • Class A CDL preferred.
