Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at NextEdge. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of proposals for construction projects, managing project performance, and delivering project results to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead project lifecycles, including creating and monitoring project plans and statements of work.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients and internal staff to track deliverables and ensure commitments are met.
  • Participate in developing plans for completing multiple projects simultaneously, aligning labor and materials with scheduled construction dates.
  • Work with customers to establish project scope, update them on project status, and provide project deliverables.
  • Compile data for weekly trackers to submit to clients.
  • Communicate with client directors through high-level calls and weekly low-level calls with client engineers.
  • Maintain databases to manage communication processes.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure deliverables are billed properly.
  • Link internal processes to client technical and accounting requirements.
  • Design and manage quality assurance processes.
  • Help lead internal resources to increase employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent training in project management, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing projects, construction activities, or personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possesses a valid driver's license.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Technical knowledge of tower construction and related project management.
  • Attention to detail to organize, identify issues with, and correct critical project information.
  • Communication skills to prepare and deliver concise, understandable messages and reports.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, presentation software, Smartsheets, and Outlook.
  • Logistical ability to plan, schedule, and track multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills to analyze and solve complicated logistical and financial problems.

Work Environment:

Indoor office environment with some travel required.
