Position Summary

The role of the Collections Specialist entails examining and assessing customer accounts for precision, initiating collection communications, and determining the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage lien waivers for payments and prepare month-end financial summaries.
  • Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Identify accounts that necessitate further action, including potential engagement with collection agencies.
  • Generate debt and credit memos for required account modifications.
  • Oversee account reconciliations and ensure prompt processing of order modifications.
  • Conduct D&B reports and verify customer credit references.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with PDF editing software is advantageous.
  • A collaborative team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
