Accounts Receivable Specialist

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our financial records, specifically focusing on the accounts receivable function.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
  • Generate accurate and timely invoices for customers, ensuring all necessary details are included.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
  • Prepare and maintain various financial reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Implement and adhere to internal controls and procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
  • Participate in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of necessary journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets related to accounts receivable.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (a plus but not a requirement)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with invoicing processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively resolve disputes and issues.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory standards.
