Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Charleston, SC location. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company to external and internal customers, answering product-related questions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company to external and internal customers, answering product-related questions and resolving customer complaints.
  • Take orders over the phone and manage web-based ordering.
  • Enter and maintain database records of customer profiles and prepare status reports.
  • Confer with management regarding customer credits, returns, and quality assurance complaints.
  • Manage inventories at customer facilities using electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Customer service/order entry experience, keyboarding accuracy and speed, and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • P2000 and order enter/AS400 experience, Lotus, and Microsoft Windows software proficiency.
