Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team. As a remote Insurance Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing multi-state clients, including coverage and risk analysis, endorsement activity, billing questions, problem-solving, renewal presentations, and binding coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional, accurate, and timely assistance to clients while building relationships with carriers and clients to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Presents clients with accurate market data from appropriate resources to advise and counsel on complex risks.
  • Understands, introduces, and leverages the products and services available as appropriate, including surplus lines and excess flood placement.
  • Prepares and conducts annual client renewal reviews, including client exposures and loss experience, and recommends appropriate products and services based on client risk profile.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining client accounts within a customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure the accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documents delivered to clients.
  • Partners with carriers' underwriting teams to negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing.

Requirements:

  • Active Property and Casualty License.
  • 4+ years of Personal Lines insurance customer service experience required.
  • Experience with high-net-worth carriers such as Chubb, PURE, AIG, etc.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and proactively, edit communications for spelling and grammar, and present information effectively without technical jargon.
  • Self-confident with the ability to make sound independent decisions.
  • Proficient in using a variety of computer programs, including CRM, MS Office, and carrier quoting tools.
  • Highly professional and self-motivated with a positive attitude and energetic personality.
  • Schedule availability Monday to Friday, Rotating Saturdays.
