Job Title: Senior Crypto Currency Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Crypto Currency Analyst to support our team in identifying illicit financial tactics and emerging threats in the cryptocurrency space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the relevance of data to support financial investigations and analyze data patterns to determine performance and sensitivity.
  • Interpret data patterns of cryptocurrency encounters from a conceptual perspective, including red flag indicators and schemes/methods.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data regarding AML and cryptocurrency illegal practices and make recommendations to decision makers.
  • Support the identification and analysis of tools used by transnational criminal organizations to obfuscate their transfer of funds.
  • Act as a liaison between manager and subordinate units, relaying instructions and information and following commitment through to completion.
  • Multitask efficiently and work comfortably in an ever-changing environment.
  • Determine appropriate tools and methods for specific projects to identify networks, predict future threats, or isolate and evaluate threat scenarios.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in intelligence analysis or policy planning.
  • Anti-money laundering (AML) experience, with CAMS certification a plus.
  • Experience in cryptocurrency, including transfer of funds/concealment methods.
  • Skills in the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including data collection, preparation, and model building.
  • Experience with FinCEN Data.
  • Knowledge or experience with data wrangling, cleansing, and analytics.
  • Presentation skills to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in law enforcement or classified intelligence analysis environment is preferable.

  • Applicants must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
