**Job Description:** The Certified/Registered Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and/or nursing staff with routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in the clinical setting.

**Responsibilities Include:

  • Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting area to the processing room
  • Reviews and understands lab values
  • Obtains vital signs, which includes blood pressure, temperature, and pulse (radial or apical)
  • Checks HGB of patient via fingerstick after training and certification by qualified personnel
  • Administers subcutaneous, intermuscular, or intra-dermal injections under direct supervision of a physician as required by protocol and documented in the patient's chart

**Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-year associate degree from an accredited program for medical assistants
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Preferred experience in Acumen, and EPIC
  • Passage of a criminal background check, OIG exclusion, and drug screenings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Estimated Salary:** $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
