Job SummaryThe Intake Specialist will be responsible for communicating with consumers and businesses, analyzing and documenting complaints, maintaining agency databases, and providing timely follow-up and closure for each complaint. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with consumers and businesses to gather information and resolve complaints
- Analyze and document complaints in accordance with DCWP laws, rules, and regulations
- Maintain agency databases and provide reports as needed
- Perform data entry and input detailed, accurate notes in agency systems
- Provide timely follow-up and closure for each complaint
- Answer calls and direct callers to appropriate channels
- Deliver accurate and complete information to callers
- Process mail within assigned timeframes
- Provide front desk reception coverage and assist walk-in consumers with filing complaints
- Prepare training materials and maintain knowledge database
To be successful in this role, you will need a four-year high school diploma or its equivalent and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Additionally, you should have strong keyboard skills with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes per minute.
