About the Role

The Senior Relationship Manager for Institutional Clients is a key member of our Global Institutional Relationship Management team. This role serves as a focal point for a group of institutional clients, taking an initiative-taking and innovative approach to providing outstanding service, problem solving, and identifying cross-selling opportunities that will expand and deepen client relationships.

This position actively pursues new business development opportunities within a hybrid model approach, leading assigned client experience efforts and building upon our reputation for excellence in investment management and client service. The successful candidate will advocate the client's best interest to the firm and serve clients as a trusted advisor on a broad range of asset management issues representing the full range of our asset management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, maintains, and communicates a relationship management strategy framework that aligns with our clients' needs and priorities.
  • Conducts regular relationship reviews with clients, both formal and informal, to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Leads a dedicated team of portfolio managers, client portfolio managers, and client service manager in the overall service of the relationship.
  • Builds strong relationships with field consultants to gather market intelligence and disseminate it back to the team.

Requirements

  • 7-15+ years of experience in a relationship management and/or business development role with a proven record in cultivating relationships within the institutional and intermediary asset owner marketplace.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • PREFERRED designations: CFA, CAIA, CIPM or MBA (not required).
  • Knowledge of the asset owner marketplace, including pension, insurance, endowment & foundation, sub-advisory, and understanding all aspects of the investors.
  • Confident prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management skills.

What We Offer

A highly competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment.
