Job Description

Job Title: Sales Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at E-Z Mart. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales floor operations, and leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, provide fast and efficient service, and thank customers for their business.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Manage the sales floor, including receiving and processing customer sales, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales associates, provide guidance and support, and ensure that sales goals are met.
  • Inventory Management: Check and replenish stock on food service supplies, including cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, and stirrers.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all equipment used for service or stocking food service products, including counters, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, food service equipment, restrooms, and parking lots.
  • Stocking and Merchandising: Stock shelves and cooler, rotate and front-face stock, remove damaged and out-of-code merchandise, and price merchandise according to the price book.
  • Vendor Management: Check in vendor deliveries as needed, using company guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Complete all necessary training evaluations and documents, provide feedback to management on training programs and materials, and use current training materials.
  • Security and Compliance: Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts to ensure compliance.
  • Other Duties: Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned to accommodate store operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Age: 18 years of age or older
  • Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
