Job Description

Job Title: Sales Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at E-Z Mart. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales floor operations, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, provide fast and efficient service, and thank customers for their business.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Manage the sales floor, including receiving and processing customer sales, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, provide guidance and support, and ensure that sales floor operations are running smoothly.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing vendor deliveries, checking inventory levels, and rotating stock.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions, including making change, processing refunds, and counting cash at the end of the shift.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and reporting any maintenance issues to management.

Requirements:

  • Age: 18 years or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail sales experience
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, basic math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The sales floor environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding.
