Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Associate Team Leader to join our team at E-Z Mart. As a Sales Associate Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales floor operations, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, provide fast and efficient service, and thank customers for their business.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register, receive money, give correct change, and process returns and exchanges.
  • Team Leadership: Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer, use special equipment to process specialty products, and check identification for restricted sales.
  • Inventory Management: Check and replenish stock on food service supplies, clean and sanitize equipment, and stock shelves and cooler.
  • Training and Development: Complete all necessary training evaluations and documents, provide feedback to management on training program and materials, and use current training materials.
  • Security and Compliance: Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shift to ensure compliance and review job assignments for completeness.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
