We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to become a vital part of our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial documentation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the correct recording of financial transactions.

This position is based in our Plantation office with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping activities such as data entry, record upkeep, and ensuring financial precision
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor invoice management and customer payment tracking
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliation procedures
  • Assist with legal billing and vendor payment processing
  • Support payroll functions and bank reconciliation tasks
  • Utilize accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, for bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Comply with GAAP and execute double-entry bookkeeping
  • Accurately process debits and credits

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Online
  • Understanding of legal case management systems and their integration with financial processes
  • Familiarity with tax laws and procedures
  • Strong skills in account and bank reconciliation
  • Experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Solid grasp of GAAP principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a legal environment is a plus
