Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream.WIN Waste is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to repair and maintain our fleet of Heavy Equipment.Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy equipmentReads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair ordersCommunicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needsCompletes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied timesMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standardsTrains and develops junior techniciansPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.Experience, Education, Certification:Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.Valid driver license.Physical Requirements:Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skillsReach with hands and armsClimb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feetOccasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbsAt WIN Waste Innovations, every employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.
