Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Security Systems Supervisor to lead and oversee the installation and servicing of advanced security systems, including access control, surveillance, and wiring for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, video surveillance, and other security systems for commercial projects.
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise in system setup, wiring, terminating wire, and system programming.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution on access control systems and other related security technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review project designs and technical diagrams, ensuring accurate implementation and adherence to client requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior technicians, fostering their development and ensuring high standards of work quality.
  • Maintain clear communication with the project team, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project completion.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of installations, services, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, creating a safe work environment for the team and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in low voltage systems and security technologies through ongoing training.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications in low voltage systems are a plus.
  • Install and program new alarm and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems.
  • Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems.
  • Monitor inventory of service parts.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage, security, and access control systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of access control systems, wiring, terminations, and troubleshooting.
  • Lenel certification is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Previous experience in leading a team of technicians, including project oversight and team coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel nationally for projects when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

Work Schedule
