Truck Wash Technician

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and tidy facility, adhering to safety-first practices to maintain an accident-free environment.
  • Welcome customers warmly, communicate courteously, and assist them as required.
  • Conduct exterior washes for commercial vehicles and RVs.
  • Perform wash-related tasks such as changing trailer washouts, applying cleaning agents and tire dressings, among other wash-related duties.
  • Manage accurate invoicing and payment processing for services rendered using billing software.
  • Carry out basic maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
  • Prioritize the safety and satisfaction of customers, following company safety policies and procedures.

Typical Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to communicate effectively and listen.
  • Requires standing and walking, with occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

In this role, you may encounter outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, you will be exposed to fumes, particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be high at times. While performing these duties, you may also be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, and concentrated cleaning solutions.
