Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various machinery and equipment, including electric and manual hand tools, small overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and electric hand jacks.
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components using a diverse range of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, ensuring proper tagging and placement of NCM materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets while adhering to the manufacturing schedule.
- Understand and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols associated with assigned tasks.
- Report any issues that may impact employee safety, product quality, or timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with the 6S program (5S + Safety).
- Arrive on time and be prepared to work at the start of shifts, after breaks, and during lunch.
- Support, train, and assist fellow team members in the capacity of Working Lead.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- 2-4 years of experience in light general manufacturing assembly.
- Proficient in using various tools for assembling mechanical and electrical components.
- Familiarity with 5S principles and general safety protocols.
- Able to read and comprehend manufacturing work instructions with minimal assistance.
- Demonstrated ability to meet production goals without compromising quality.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require bending, pushing, and pulling products, as well as lifting boxes or parts weighing up to 40 lbs. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
