Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities that include additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
  • Perform repairs on building exteriors, grounds, and mechanical systems
  • Develop and manage schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning tasks
  • Implement a proactive maintenance strategy
  • Oversee contracted work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Prepare vacant units for new tenants
  • Act as the emergency maintenance contact during scheduled on-call shifts
  • Manage property operations within budgetary constraints
  • Maintain an updated inventory of tools and equipment
  • Participate in relevant industry meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience
  • At least 6 months of experience in a multi-family or institutional setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; trade school or college education is a plus
  • Certifications such as CAMT, boiler license, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, and first aid are advantageous
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances
  • Basic computer skills are preferred
  • Experience with YARDI software is a plus
Physical Requirements: The role requires physical activity, including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.
