JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commitment to Safety and Service Excellence. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections (DOT, PM). Perform diagnostics and repairs on air brake systems. Execute ABS diagnostics and repairs using laptop diagnostic tools. Carry out repairs on floors, roofs, doors, and side panels. Manage minor and major accident repairs. Diagnose and repair electrical systems. Conduct wheel end repairs and adjustments. Perform aluminum and steel welding. Execute general repairs on trailers and related equipment. Accurately and efficiently conduct PM maintenance. Perform PM maintenance and repairs on Yard Spotters. Diagnose Cummins electronic engines using a laptop. Adhere to all warranty policies and procedures. Utilize electronic technical manuals and resources for diagnostics and repairs. Provide accurate documentation on repair orders.
TRAINING PROVIDED:
Applicants must be capable of executing quality repairs on suspension systems, lighting/electrical systems, air brake and ABS systems, trailer dollies, and trailer body/structure.
Technicians will also perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Yard Spotters equipped with Cummins electronic diesel engines.
Candidates must possess the skills to conduct thorough preventive maintenance inspections and PM services.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, along with a monthly performance bonus.
Applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
