Position Overview

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with potential overtime on Saturdays.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the operational integrity of mechanical systems and equipment within the facility.



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to ascertain the root cause and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with machine operators to conduct tests and assess machinery performance for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Execute repairs, replacements, adjustments, and alignments of machinery components.
  • Fabricate or refurbish parts and components as necessary to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Utilize welding, fabrication, and machining techniques to maintain and assemble equipment.
  • Operate various tools and machinery, including hoists, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Conduct operational tests on equipment to confirm the effectiveness of repairs and adjustments.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on machinery and facilities.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and perform tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.



Qualifications

  • Proficient in reading and understanding instructions in English.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and spatial awareness.
  • Capable of following established procedures and performing tasks accordingly.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, typically acquired through high school education or equivalent.
  • Job-specific skills and safe operating practices are developed through hands-on experience and training.
  • General guidance is provided for recurring tasks, while detailed instructions are available for new assignments.
  • Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience Required: 0-2 years in a similar role.
  • Minimal travel required: less than 10%.
