Job Title: Manufacturing Planner II

Join Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, as a Manufacturing Planner II in our Test Manufacturing group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and leading the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application.
  • Generate and monitor the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers' schedules.
  • Utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment area.
  • Experience with material procurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware.
  • Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications.
