POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated member to enhance our Maintenance Team, particularly someone skilled in electronics diagnostics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities encompass installation, setup, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, instruments, controls, and associated equipment.
  • The candidate should exhibit advanced electrical troubleshooting capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of the National Electrical Code, and the proficiency to install and maintain electrical systems.
  • Work will involve interpreting sketches, equipment manuals, basic designs, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Stay updated on new advancements through continuous learning and training as necessary.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Support fellow maintenance staff and assist in training when required. Additional tasks may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL and/or COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to engage with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Capability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios. Proficiency in computer operations and related software is required.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to operate a forklift (licensing will comply with OSHA power industrial truck operator requirements). Training in the National Electric Code is essential.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. using jib cranes and other lifting devices.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may need to utilize taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While executing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock. The employee may occasionally be exposed to loud continuous noise, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
