Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate service appointments efficiently.
- Welcome customers warmly and gather vehicle details promptly.
- Conduct a thorough inspection with the customer, noting any damages and recommending necessary maintenance.
- Draft clear and precise repair orders detailing customer vehicle issues.
- Review service history with customers to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Guide customers on proper vehicle maintenance to uphold manufacturer specifications.
- Provide detailed and accurate estimates for labor and parts.
- Secure customer approval on repair orders and provide them with a copy.
- Determine customer payment preferences and obtain necessary credit approvals.
- Monitor repair progress throughout the day, keeping customers informed of any changes in estimates or timelines, and ensure proper authorization for additional repairs.
- Review repair orders to confirm completion of work and ensure all additional work is documented and authorized.
- Ensure vehicles are parked correctly, locked, and that keys are stored appropriately.
- Explain completed services and associated charges to customers.
- Discuss upcoming surveys and schedule future service appointments.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries regarding appointments and ongoing work.
- Manage repair order documentation to comply with all policies and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with the Multi Point Inspection process.
- Achieve and maintain an effective labor rate above 80% of the posted retail rate.
- Present a professional appearance and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Participate in mandatory company training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $15 - $100,000.00 annually
