Location:
North Vernon, Indiana

Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating schedule (3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off)

Compensation:
$28-$35/hr

Role Overview:
We seek a highly qualified Electromechanical Technician with extensive experience in troubleshooting PLCs and executing electrical tasks. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PLC Diagnostics & Repair: Identify and rectify PLC-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality of equipment.
  • Electrical Maintenance: Conduct electrical wiring, repairs, modifications, and upgrades while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, implementing preventative strategies to avert future complications.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Regularly assess plant machinery to identify and mitigate potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of completed tasks and update equipment records to facilitate future maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with operational teams to enhance understanding of equipment functionality, improving troubleshooting and repair processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to foster a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in electrical and electronics maintenance, focusing on PLC diagnostics.
  • Relevant electrical education and training, with the ability to pass the NOCTI for Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Proficient in PC/PLC troubleshooting and repair.
  • Basic skills in reading, mathematics, and communication.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training to enhance maintenance skills.
  • Availability to support emergency and project-related needs as required.
