Frank Productions, LLC is seeking part-time Event Venue Attendants to enhance the experience at our performance spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all attendees. The starting compensation for this position is $20 per hour. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, secure, and inviting environment for guests and staff.
- Welcome patrons and assist them in finding their designated seating.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries or concerns.
- Provide support to individuals utilizing accessible seating options.
- Effectively communicate with team members, guests, vendors, and clients regarding event requirements.
- Assist with venue preparations as directed by event coordinators.
- Help maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles and performing general tidying tasks.
- Understand and adhere to the venue's Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow established protocols as instructed by venue management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
- Capability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and navigate various software systems, including MS Office and ticketing platforms.
- Effective communication skills in a collaborative team setting, including in-person and digital interactions.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations and confidential information with professionalism.
- Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Commitment to continuous learning and promoting an inclusive environment.
- Background check is mandatory.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to perform duties while standing and walking, including navigating stairs.
- Proficient use of hands and fingers for operating computers and office equipment.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Regular exposure to large crowds and elevated noise levels.
- Frequent exposure to varying lighting conditions, including low light and strobe effects.
- Occasional outdoor work may be required.
- Extended work hours may be necessary.
