  • Follow recipes, guidelines, and regulations to ensure patient care and dietary needs are met.
  • Understand and prepare medical diets and IDDSI diet textures.
  • Follow food handling regulations set by CMS and the Clay County Health Department.
  • Lead production shifts and coordinate the activities of cook aides and workers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests to obtain feedback.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Perform tasks using safety equipment and follow all safety standards.
  • Report any issues related to patient care, safety, and sanitation to management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in nutrition services, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Current Clay County food handler's permit or Serve Safe certification required within 30 days of hire.
