Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process invoices for accuracy and approval
  • Maintain communication with vendors to resolve account issues
  • Research and resolve statement discrepancies
  • Update vendor listings with accurate information
  • Prepare and mail payments to vendors
  • Verify expense reports and petty cash transactions
  • Provide backup support to Accounts Receivable as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of general business experience, with resort accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to file, copy, scan, and fax records with high accuracy and efficiency
