The Price Center, a dedicated organization focused on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Program Manager to oversee our Residential Services/Community Living initiatives.

The Price Center fosters a vibrant and supportive environment that enables adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to excel in various aspects of life, including work, living, and social interactions. Our Residential Services/Community Living program operates multiple homes where we ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, teach financial literacy to residents, and maintain accurate financial records.
  2. Healthcare Management: Ensure compliance with medical protocols, maintain health records, and coordinate medical appointments.
  3. Staff Leadership: Supervise and train staff, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate team meetings.
  4. Individualized Support: Monitor and enhance individual service plans, ensuring each resident's needs are met.
  5. Activity Coordination: Organize recreational and educational activities, promoting engagement and skill development.
  6. Program Development: Collaborate with the Program Director to refine program procedures and maintain compliance with regulations.
  7. Communication: Maintain effective communication with families, staff, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
  8. Safety Management: Conduct safety inspections, organize fire drills, and ensure a secure living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of direct care experience in a human services setting, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • At least one year of management experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Medication Administration Certification (MAP) in Massachusetts is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
