Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Industry Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the transportation industry. They will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and generating leads through various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire multimodal/multiservice opportunities.
* Identify and pursue new clients within the assigned region, with a focus on cold calling and networking.
* Generate leads through cold calling, attending industry trade shows, and leveraging referrals.
* Conduct thorough research to understand prospective clients' needs and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
* Effectively communicate AFS's value proposition through compelling presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
* Establish relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, to understand their business challenges and position AFS as a solution provider.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the transportation industry.
* Strong consultative sales experience with a focus on hunting for new business.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level decision-makers.
* Established network of contacts within the transportation sector.
* High motivation and drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
