About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This key position involves managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, working closely with clients to understand their coverage needs, providing quotes, handling policy renewals, and facilitating claims resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Advise clients on coverage options and insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Prepare and review insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely manner.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Work with underwriters and insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and rates.
  • Ensure compliance with Maine state insurance regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update them as necessary.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (with a focus on account management).
  • Maine Property & Casualty license required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience.
