About the Role

The Second Circuit Court of Appeals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civic Engagement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in fostering community engagement and promoting civic awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to increase civic participation and awareness of court-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for community engagement and develop strategies to leverage these opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to promote the court's mission and values.
  • Design and implement educational programs to promote civic awareness and engagement among diverse populations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community outreach programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public administration, communications, or social sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
