About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Stamford Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in our Out-Patient Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, MRI, and Ultrasound machines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and position them according to the type of procedure.
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and standards.
  • Evaluate digital images, critique images, and perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Provide simple troubleshooting and repairs as needed, and make adjustments to equipment.
  • Document all relevant information, including patient history and pre-existing conditions.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to improve and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid Radiology license from the State of Connecticut.
  • Certifications in specific modalities employed, as detailed by the modality job descriptions.
  • CPR certification.
  • Annual certification must be maintained as specified by each modality.
