Position Overview:

Tetra Tech is seeking a Science Intern to contribute to our dynamic team in environmental projects. This role involves collaboration with experienced scientists on various initiatives focused on environmental remediation, land development, and water resource management.


Your Responsibilities:

The Science Intern will assist Project Managers in the planning and execution of projects for municipal, state, and federal clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project teams in delivering government and commercial projects.
  • Engaging in report writing, calculations, presentations, and design tasks related to environmental and land development projects.
  • Contributing to feasibility studies, report preparation, and technical documentation.
  • Assisting in the development of geographic information systems databases, design drawings, and regulatory submissions.
  • Facilitating effective communication and coordination among project managers, subconsultants, and team members.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor's degree program in a scientific discipline.
  • Preferred previous internship experience in environmental consulting or engineering.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management skills with the capability to meet deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual obligations.
