Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety EOC Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our occupational safety and health team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Document safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures.
- Maintain safety equipment supply and availability for all hospital facilities.
- Monitor work practices and procedures for compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health and environmental compliance laws, regulations, and standards.
- Minimum of three years' experience in the implementation of occupational safety and health and environmental compliance programs.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, or engineering disciplines).
- Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
