About the Role

MGS Mfg. Group is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at the Germantown Manufacturing facility. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and continuously improving programs and systems that support environmental, health, and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate and report on accidents and near-miss incidents, and develop recommendations for prevention.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and implement EHS strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make sound conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence team engagement and drive decision-making.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of state and federal regulatory standards, as well as current safety and loss control practices.
