About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team at HazTek Inc. as a Risk Control Specialist. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in safety protocols and a passion for ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Daily Safety Meetings: Conduct daily safety meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and promote a culture of safety.
  • Accident Reporting and Investigations: Complete accident reports and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct daily safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee all subcontractors and contractors to ensure they adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Safety Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP) to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of direct pharmaceutical construction safety experience required.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of pharmaceutical safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and construction safety standards.
  • Certifications: CHST preferred, OSHA 510 required.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to coach and mentor, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
