Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Technical Lead to join our team of IT professionals. The successful candidate will own the design and implementation of Guidewire solutions to meet business requirements, coordinate development and integration of Guidewire applications, and provide technical expertise to development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Guidewire solutions to meet business requirements
  • Coordinate development and integration of Guidewire applications
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to development teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of Guidewire applications
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment to coding standards and processes
  • Develop and maintain user documentation for Guidewire implementations
  • Fix and resolve sophisticated technical issues related to Guidewire applications
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire and Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks
  • Mentor and train junior developers on Guidewire technologies and standard methodologies
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality and stability of Guidewire applications
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
Requirements
  • Good functional knowledge in BillingCenter
  • Strong Guidewire technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer communication
  • Ability to guide and own offshore teams
  • Cloud knowledge is a plus point for future application migration
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between $66,896 – $132,500, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
