Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at Experis. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to our team, ensuring the successful implementation of our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the technical architecture and direction for our new Salesforce application, a cloud-based solution for professional licensing and inspection.
  • Work with our team to establish working agreements between us and our software implementation vendor's technical teams.
  • Ensure our vendor(s) execute the technical vision and deliver high-quality software and solutions for our constituents.
  • Refine the solution architecture in partnership with our selected implementing vendor as part of the initial implementation.
  • Collaborate with our Product Manager to finalize a product roadmap and refine the solution approach based on user research and business process optimization work.
  • Set and enforce engineering processes and tooling that will empower technical staff and help make the project successful.
  • Ensure environments are set up according to standards.
  • Coordinate with our team and vendors to determine an appropriate organizational structure to support ongoing production and operations.

Requirements:

  • Leading development teams and reporting to executives.
  • Working with large-scale web applications.
  • Modern tools and programming languages, including Salesforce, REST API frameworks, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, cloud-based and data warehouses, CI/CD and DevOps tools, and mobile application frameworks.
  • Working on projects with external vendors.
  • Ability to see the big picture, but dive into the details.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in both waterfall and agile software delivery methodologies.
  • SaaS and IaaS, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce cloud, Snowflake, and others.
