Construction Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform and oversee field surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys.
* Interpret construction project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient construction layout.
* Create and maintain ISOs, log weld maps, and turnover packages.
* Perform regular checks and updates on survey equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure all work is carried out according to design plans.
* Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
* Document all surveying activities and maintain accurate records for future reference.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction process.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors and other team members.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Surveyor or Field Surveyor, preferably within the construction industry.
* Proficient in the use of modern survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collection technology.
* Extensive knowledge of construction project plans, ISO creation, log weld maps, and turnover packages.
* Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations and the ability to enforce these on-site.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
* A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
